I haven’t got out of my room for 2 days now coding and doing stuff for the WARP. We’ll I did get out to do go and have a meal with the rest of the team (we did diserve it!).
I’ve also done some other things like assembling a landspeeder which I hope to get painted as
soon as I have some spare time. But what is more important: I got my Tactica Aeronautica at last!! (after 3 weeks of anxious wait). I have to say the book is pretty thin but is teeming with images and cool stuff. I’ve read all the new rules and analysed them so we could feature them in the next release of WARP. In a future post I’ll explain what this changes are and how we’ll we applying them to our application.

It’s 2am in the evening and I’m still working in front of my computers trying to make sure everything works just fine so we can release it on www.enterthewarp.com as soon as possible.
I ordered the Tactica Aeronautica a few days ago so I expect to get it soon and implement all the new rules to WARP. In the meantime I’ll try to get everything ready.
Btw, I just found this video where it talks about Games-workshop forbidding Damnatus release (maybe GW is about to release its own movie).
We’ll,I gotta go to sleep! I’ll just brush my teeth, grab my teddy bear and jump into bed!

For those who wonder why this blog has not been updated in a while I have the answer: I’m working in a restaurant at the Bouganvilla Hotel in Mallorca(see upper images). I’m very busy at the moment so I don’t have time to work on the project. That DOES NOT mean I’m DISCONTINUING WORT. Even though I did some concept art work in the interface last week. I’d love to post some of the scratches I made but I still wonder how the hell I can scan images with my HP Officejet 4225 on Ubuntu.
Meanwhile I’ll keep serving delicious english meals to all our
customers.
PS: The sausage and chips does not come with beans,
you’ll have to make a side order if you want some.

I was browsing the net reading stuff about Ruby on Rails and CakePHP trying to find out which of these API’s, if any, best fited my needs.
I found this interesting article by Omar Abdel-Wahab comparing both and talking a bit about the architecture they implement, MVC.
I think that developing the application with this architecture in mind will very much ease all the coding and manteinance effort along with all the advantages issuing modularity. I haven’t decided yet whether I’ll be using any API’s or not. I think I need more reading I guess.
I just forgot! You can now subscribe to this blog’s feed(the sindication button does not appear in the Blogger default templates).
I’ll keep posting all the fluff that comes to my head…

…and I thought I could start bloggin’ my attempt to create a sort of online application that lets you create and share your army rosters for the Games Workshop ’s miniature games: Warhammer and Warhammer 40K.
I have plenty of ideas messed up in my mind (maybe that’s the reason why I can get no sleep at all, either that or my brain ran completely out of theta waves). I hope to come back here often with interesting things to tell you about this project.
Meanwhile don’t bother spamming my mail box with any idea or feature you’d like to see in it!
Alright now, time to bed…
